In the football world, this term is used to determine how long the ball is in the air when the punter kicks the ball. Longer is better. In church world, it is determined by how long people hang around after church and before they get in their cars and go home.  Likewise, longer is better.

Some of the most important things that a believer needs will be fostered during this “after church” hangout time.  Friendships, advice giving, bearing one another’s burdens, and just plain old biblical fellowship will be found during the 30 to 60 minutes after church is over.
